The Littlest Hobo: my peculiar dog

Walking past his kennel, seeing his sweet little face peeking out like a hobo from a pile of rags, I quietly collected my camera and took his photo while he obliged, in his usual wary manner.

Our car club went on a run. This dog appeared from nearby and joined us for lunch, sitting in typical funny staffy fashion. How cute are its toes poking out between the front feet??

Black Dog Spirit: farm creatures

This Easter long weekend has included a couple of trips to the farm to check sheep. One of the younger dogs wasn’t handled much before being re-homed, so is quite wary of contact with people, dodging out of my way when I reach to pat the pack. Even taking a photo of her is tricky, hence this blurry image that makes me think of a shadowy spirit slipping by at the periphery.
