Classic Citroen Club: rear window

The national club for classic Citroen owners met in Naracoorte, South Australia this month, and lucky me! I was there to enjoy the splendour.

Warrnambool Botanic Gardens: unfurling II

Green goddess lilies are a favourite of mine, though I only came to know them in later life. These were unfurling prettily beside the bridge over the lake at the Warrnambool Botanic Gardens.

Colac Botanic Gardens: winter sunshine and cheerful colours

Botanic gardens have been on my radar while travelling this year, because they’re usually a beautiful space to reconnect with nature while being in town or cities. Additionally, where I live there aren’t many wonderful, huge old specimen trees that aren’t red gums – which are wonderful in their own right, but are quite plentiful here – and most botanic gardens have at least a few interesting varieties.

This photo was taken at Colac Botanic Gardens, a lovely space away from the main street, overlooking the lake.
