The everyday photos in family albums that I loved to look at as a child inspired me to pick up a camera. Trying my hand at many arts and crafts, photography is the one thing I always come “home” to, the one thing I can’t bear to be without. I am untrained, unqualified and, for the most part, unskilled. But I love what I do, and I love doing it too.
If you came to this blog and enjoyed what you saw or read, then I am glad.
Thanks for spending time here.

Oh! How lovely for it to have been recognised 🙂 It’s a beautiful place.
You may be untrained and unqualified, but you are certainly not unskilled!
Tim, thank you so much for the compliment – I really appreciate your interest and feedback 🙂
I am very familiar with the Karnak Cemetery, having painted several scenes there. It is a beautiful place with some very old headstones. You have captured these beautifully, not just the headstones, but the feel the Cemetery has. Definitely not unskilled.
Thanks very much for your kind words, Diane – I appreciate your feedback 🙂
Nice to meet you Melanie
