Big Hill Lookout: a postcard from Stawell

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Following a night of fairly constant rain, I was pleased to find it had cleared by this morning, as I had planned a trip to visit a friend in Stawell, a goldrush town whose name rhymes with “drawl”, and which is famed for the renowned “Stawell Gift” annual foot race.

A dyed-in-the-wool Stawell local, Kerry took me on a photographer’s tour of her town, noticing and responding to each grab for the camera I made with a photographer’s eye of her own. Thanks for a great day out, Kerry!
