Sunday Country Drives: Coleraine’s Arboretum

_1280852-002 collageI’ve been meaning to visit the arboretum at Coleraine in Victoria’s south-west, and with today being damp and comparatively cool after a few days of intense summer heat (40C+)  it seemed the perfect opportunity.

My first impression on alighting from the car was of the incredible “Aussie bush” perfume from a thousand dampened eucalypts. Due to the odd shower and being inappropriately shod, I didn’t get to explore very far, but I will definitely be going back for a proper wander.
